The time it takes to build a home depends on the size and complexity of the project. On average, it takes between 8 to 12 months to build a home under 5000 sq.ft.  Homes that are larger and have more customization could take longer.   

Yes, we provide a written warranty that will detail what we cover.

It really depends on what type of customization you decide to do.  We will provide an estimate after we have had a chance to review your plans and options.  A good guestimate would be $130-$200 per sq.ft. under roof including the garage and patios.  If you are financing, the bank will also require you to make payments on the amount borrowed each month.  We can discuss the details in person. 

We want you to love your home and understand that sometimes you will want to make changes after construction has begun.  We will provide a written change order that you will sign that shows the cost associated with making the change or addition.  You'll be asked to pay for the change in full upfront if your financing is set in place and the loan amount has been pre-determined.  Often times the bank will not let you change the loan amount once agreed upon.  Keep in mind that changes slow down production and can cost you time and money as your interest accrues if financing.  

If you are a licensed contractor for the work you want to provide and have insurance, yes.  If you just want to save a few dollars by doing some work, the answer is no.  We carry insurance and are audited by the insurance provider each year.  All work must be performed by trades that are licensed and that carry insurance.
